Aaveg was started way back in 2003 by its founder Navneet Singh and Shaheem Khan who is also the lead guitarist of the band. Band saw a lots of ups and down before settling down to a final lineup. Presently its a 5 member band:

Navneet Singh : Leads and Backing Vocals
Savio : Lead Vocals
Sagar : Drums
Shaheem : Bass Guitar
Sudheer : Rhythm Guitars
Abhinav Singh : Outside moral support and at times rhythm/lead guitars :)

Few of the recent achievements of the band include:
1. Runners up at IIIT Allahabad ’ 07, including best drummer award.
2. Winner at Crossroads at IT BHU , Banaras ’ 07, including best Guitarist award.
