What is MuziCast?

It is a weekly PodCast of Muziboo, which will be ideally released every sunday.

Get to know latest happenings from Muziboo, find out cool independent music, and listen to what artist have to say.

You may provide suggestions to improve the show in the discussion titled “Suggestions”. Its your show. So anything you’ve got to say about it, yell back.

Listeners willing to get their favourite original compositions on Muziboo aired through MuziCast, submit the request in the discussion area. There is a discussion titled “Fan Requests” in this group. Put your requests in the same and we’ll convey it to artists around here. Its simplest!

Artists willing to get exposure, simply submit your original compositions, which will be included in the MuziCast. More details below.

For Artists:

If you have composed any original music, you’ve all the right to grab a chance of playing it on MuziCast. Its simple, its safe. All you need to do is post your requests regarding the song you want to get aired through an email. DO NOT send the mp3 unless asked to.

Simply e-mail a link to the Muziboo page of your song. OR submit the particular song in this group.

Once your song is chosen to be aired in a particular episode, you’ll be asked to send an MP3 file of the same in 128 kbps or higher bitrate version along with the following details.
The file will not be stored in its original format after the episode is created, neither will be shared with any external parties, so don’t worry about protection of your music.

What to include in the e-mail?
[Following details to be mailed only when asked.]

Artist : your artist name, as you want it to appear on MuziCast. Ideally, it should be those who deserves the commercial right on the composition.
Title : Title of your song
Album : If any
Genre : eg. Trance
Length : Length of the track. eg. 4:06
Language : eg. Hindi, English (its important.. )
Credits : All the other deservant candidates that must have credits while being MuziCasted. :) eg. Composers, Singers etc.

Link : Link to the mp3 song on Muziboo, it will be listened by us first. [Just to ensure originality, quality and a link back to your original track page, so that listeners from outside can get straight to your page if they found it interesting. So, make sure you’ve all details on that page, like the lyrics, the credits, copyrights or CC licence details, and anything that seems important.]

Message : Here goes your personal message to the audience. It can be a simple “hope you like it” or something like “this was made while I….” kind of story line, but try to limit it in approx 50 words.



Please note that…
– only original compositions will be accepted.
– your tracks may be edited by us to match the podcast quality.
– you must have all the rights for the song you submit.
– we reserve the right to include the track in MuziCast’s future episodes.
