About this music
This song was sung by my Dad, K. Jayavantha Nayak along with his co-singer Baby Sheetal Prabhu.. This song was recorded over 35 years ago.. It was a direct tape recording when my dad performed this song along with his band.. The band used a Harmonium, Tabla, Congo and Mandolin.. Of course not all of them are used in this song.. Also, during those times, my dad said that ladies wouldn’t join any band and therefore the vocals were done by the Baby sheetal.. Of course she was a baby then, not now!! :D
The song was preserved by re-recording it into newer tapes and finally I transferred it over to my comp and sampled it remove the noise as much as possible.. I just thought of putting in some efforts to keep my Dad’s talent alive.. I would like all you Muzibians to enjoy this song..

A very TRUE Musical feel in the Song…Didn’t understand the language but Baby sheetal was good in Duet effect… :D Dad’s voice also suits his time well… :D
I can understand the Limitations of that kind of Setup…as i did the same in my starting days… :D
Its very good to see u preserved ur Father’s work so nice…U worked hard on Processing man…Else generally there is a BIG hiss always in these kind of song…

Ha ha ha.. You bet, its Dad’s day on Muziboo today.. The secret is, you reminded me of my Dad’s song.. It was a challenge to get the hissing noise and other external noises out.. I had to buy special cables from the market made in particular for audio, to get the transfer done from the tape to my comp through line in.. Later on it was all sampling and mixing that did the magic to make it sound like the way it does now!! Thanks a lot for your comment buddy..

Deepak…I really appreciate urs and Shashanks views..In the sense, we all upload our own work, and await for people to reply for that..We say, this is my song, Cover ssong and watever..But no one really says, well this is not my song, but really close to my heart and more important than me..KUDOS!!!..I really am so happy by watching u both guys doing this…
My father always wanted to be a singer…He ran to mumbai, without even knowing ABCD of music and film industry..Well he cldnt make his singing career, but i can proudly say, thaat without even having a single penny knowledge of music, he really sings well..the first song i ever sang was a rap though, but wen i played that to him, he had tears in his eyes..Coz he saw himself again..My real dream is to make atleast one song for him and make him sing….I love u PAPA …
