This is one of the first songs I dedicated to my wife :-) So it holds a special place in my heart.

John Denver wrote this for his then-wife Ann Martell after the near break up of their marriage. He wrote it in 10 minutes while on a ski lift.

Emmotionally → This is excellent…You wife would be very very HAPPY to listen to this….Great emmotions carried with the Song… Musically-> Your voice suits to this voice a lot and you sung with too much Dedication… technically-> Sound Levels are nicely mixed and your vocals float nicely with strings… You know YESTERDAY Night One guy from Netherland Came to my place for Jamming…I made him listen to your songs…and He was so Impressed…he has a IRISH band who perform concerts here…He said He would have like to take you in your band to sing…This is very nice ha…i saw them performing…they are real good…He really enjooyed your FRENCH pronounciation of MISCHELLE (By the way, he offered me a small role to play Mouth Organ also ha… :D) You are on Right Track BRO …English Song are getting popular with Real ENGLISh people…thats an Achievement…

Hey.. We used to play this song in our band.. When we used to practice in the middle of the night in the garage, tired, wanted to do something different.. We would just have some dim lights around and just park ourselves in a corner and play this song with just acoustic guitar and bass.. Then we would add harmony and stuff.. Just trying to do something different.. I donno if you can picture it.. Anyways.. About the song: * I still hate you! You don’t give me room to mention an area for improvement.. * Yeah, this time I can actually suggest something.. Now that you have reached the next level as a singer and you wanna dedicate this song to your wife, why don’t you add your creative bit into this song?? Great work! Your voice and songs like this rock. I’d love to hear “Leaving on a Jetplane” of course :-). Unlike the other guys though, I have some criticism. I felt that in the second stanza in the second and third lines, it felt like you’d not timed your breath right. Each time you sang the same words/lines, I felt that there was too much ‘sameness’ – I’m not able to express it better – I’m not much of a musician :D Additionally, I felt that there was something missing compared to your rendering of Michelle or Delilah :-). Nevertheless, AWESOME work :-). It’s going into my favorites, pending a better version by you ;-)
