I wrote this song in 1996 as a doe-eyed fresher in college, completely smitten by this girl in my class. :) Meant to be a solo, but this particular recording is a duet.
Singers: Arunaditya Basu and Nanditha
Music: Raja Dash and Nitin Dubey
Lyrics and rhythm guitar: Nitin Dubey

Amazing composition…You are very good Composer again I would say…I hope that girl knows about this great work done for her…
Great Lyrics…But Vocals doesn’t give that justice to the this great composition…I hope you would like to record this again…
THis songs start very well…Tabla add a feel like ‘Hosh Valo ko Khabar kya’....
Why don’t u try movies ?
Wow…
Nitin I just loved this song – I meant mainly the composition.
Vocals could have been definitely better as Shashank has said, though I would still say they have sung quite well. Nanditha was quite good.
And I did not like that humming in the back ground in many places. It somehow was sounding little odd to me. Of course, my view…you sae…:D
Best wishes

Hey Nitin, I hope you’d be active participant of the MuziCast thing we’ll soon have. Wonderful job. Keep rocking!

Shashank, NVK , Ronak: Thanks a lot for your comments, encouragement as well as criticism.
Ronak, unfortunately I don’t yet know much about MuziCast, if you could help pls :)
This is so pro..very good melody…i am already humming it….so Indian….
..i am certain you will make it big…good luck
you should post the lyrics with each song…..my 2 cents :-)
Did you just write it then or composed it too?
As Anirban said, posting lyrics makes it more interesting!
Cheers
Nithya
Amazing composition and arrangements, lyrics were also pretty good, i like the female voice a lot, she has a voice that is very close to Chithra, and she was effortless in this song. Keep up the good work man.

Thanks for your comments. Will add lyrics soon.
Nanditha is actually an established singer in South India now, especially in the Kannada industry. Since we were together in the college music group, she has been kind enough to lend her voice to my compositions after passing out as well.
Nithya, the basic structure of the main melody was composed by Raja, a senior of mine in college. We used to listen to him sing this song which had the first line as ‘dekh kar tera chehra’. After he left, I did not remember the lyrics so I took the first line and wrote the rest of the song around it and created the interludes, alaaps etc and the rest of the arrangement. So essentially, this is Raja’s song and I have always made sure to credit him.
