May I make a suggestion: I’d love to hear your voice with a little less of reverb as far as songs of this genre are concerned. I know it’s not a conscious effort, but your voice seems to hide a little behind the reverb. It might sound EVEN better if it’s a little drier than what it is now.
And secondly, I can hear that you are deleting the breath noises (or maybe you are singing in takes). I personally feel leaving the breath noise in would add EVEN more character and feel.
BTW , the two ‘EVEN’s in Capital letters above should clarify that I thought this rendition was fabulous and we are only talking of minor technical suggestions. :) :)
