ENVEEK - In my “Second Innings”

This is by far Priyanka’s best performance. Excellent rendition of this beautiful song. She sounds very mature and confident. The special effects have also come out well. Congrats to you NVK – I am sure you are the sound engineer for this song LOL . Great stuff.

Good use of reverb over vocals.. the recording is mostly flawless.

Really, good attempt by Priyanka. She’s a unique voice that may or may not match with any other singer.. but that doesn’t mean she cant sing well. She’s amazing at high notes.. and may try more of low-pitch songs.. like the one I suggested..

Again, I’d like to say that she’s an amazing singer.. as good as you’re.

88/100 for a worthy effort.

EDIT :

One more thing, her pronunciations need to be more effective, which can be achieved if you make her listen the songs many times before she sings.

the intro jaadoo hai nasha hai..

well the thing about dissonance is that.. its needed to ooze sex appeal.. but has to be done right.. the first two times she does it.. its not sexy but besura to my ears.. she gets it right in the subsequent iterations ie being sexily dissonant.

• Feel wasn’t good enough (It’s got to do with what Jay had to say.. Its the feel)
  
  * Redition was good
  
  * I must say that Priyanka has shown tremendous improvements in pitching and pronunciation.. There were a few issues here and there.. Eg: second verse.. beginning.. Pitching!! Also its “Jaun” and not “Jao” like the way it sounds.. Anyways, we still have time.. way to go!

I think Priyanka has improved a lot. Lot more control and much sharper when it comes to pitch. I agree with the others on the feel missing a little bit. Good job overall. I think the mixing has improved quite a bit too!
