Sounds good, though it sounded like the scale of the second part of the music was different (lower) than the first part. That apart, I liked it.

Notes are really really depends on the way you close the hole on the Flute or open it or Partly open it(for playing sharp notes)...I felt this closing on hole on the flute to produce an accurate note was not done properly in this attempt…specially when u extend the note…

Well, I may be wrong but played a little bit of flute not as good as you…but at least I can imagine about notes…

About scale I agree with Nitin…but this is really very nice… :D Flute is really hard to play… :D

I have been learning around a year and mostly on myself for all non-carnatic stuffs. So I might be a bit rusty.

Can you point out the time where you felt the scale was low?

Thanks

Varun, this tune has two parts: the opening (which is the first thing we hear on Airtel ringtones etc and which is the first thing you have played as well) and the second part, which starts higher and sort of slopes down after that. It is this part that is incorrect in your recording. Instead of starting at F#, it starts at C (in your rendition), which is a good 3 whole-tones lower. Another way to look at it is that the higher part should start at the same note as the opening piece, but an octave higher. Hope this makes sense. Cheers.

The guilty note is at 00:10 (10 seconds into the piece)
