About this music
This is a very Special composition for me, because from 100s of compositions I made, my father like only THIS one. I am not sure why…But thats why this is very important for me.
I am not sure what I was thinking while writing and composing this ? But this is about a Person Sitting at Seashore and thinking/waiting for his LOST Love…I shouldn’t write this for me..:) but I like the Ideas I could imagine that point of time for expressing the feelings of that person…
For ex. When that person thinks that though he can see happiness around but he can’t pick one smile for him…Impossible things are happening (Sky meeting Earth)around but this simple thing(that her GF would come back to him only once) can not happen…and he is still waiting…
“Saahil pe Baithe Tadapte rahe hum
Khamoshiyo se sahe hai harek Gum
Aasama bhi saagar se milane ko aaya
Raah dekhane mein hoo aur mera saya”
And When person is bound by the time(that moment) when her Girl left him alone..and now he deliberately want her to come back and free him from the imprisonment of that moment…I imagined this…
“Dayaro mein ho kar khade, jee rahe hai
Ankho ki boondo ko hi pee rahe hai
Ke pyar ki Ek lehar koi aaye
Dayaro ko tode humein leke jaaye”
I hope you people can connect to these emotions stuffed in the song…I wold definitely expect Constructive feedbacks from all…:D

Thanks Prateek…
But just to tell you…I am very very very Happy in my LIFE … :D…Just in case…:D
SAD Compositions are just a SKILL … :D
Hey shashank.. this is really awesome. Why don’t you add some bass and strings/pads and a lil’ bit of beats? You may create a separate track for that..
You generate wonderful tracks using deep feelings..
I’m a fan.. ;)

Sudeip is already helping me out on making this sound as you suggested with More music I mean….
I would upload the more musical version once sudeip gets time from his busy schedule… :D
I hope he won’t mind me uploading this…
Hey Shashank,
This is a good one, sounds touching specially with reference to the background created in your write up. The lyrics and the musical composition go hand in hand and compliment eachother. Why don’t you try and get such beautifull compositions sung from somebody with good vocal aptitude.
Keep going mate.
Abhay
Thanks Abhay,
I agree with you…This definitely needs a singer with good Vocal Aptitude… :D…thats why if you see I mentioned me as a Reference Singer…I hope I would get one around…
Wah Shashank, these are the only words that come to mouth when listening to this composition….
Add a little more reverbrations and echo…..and the effect will increase manifold
Very nice composition …and great singing effort too… :-)
Thanks Shailender, Thanks for Suggestions and good words…
Thanks Shreeharshan, Well, I know singing could have been better…but thanks for encouragement…
Wow, loved it. I love sad songs, and this one is a special composition. Would love to try it in my voice, could you please send me the track?
thanks Hemanta for loving my composition…
Nice one…Enjoyed that! Brought out a lovely melancholic feel!
Hi Shashank…
Undoubtedly a very good composition…Sounding like you got inspired by many old songs like ‘mera to jo bhi kadam…” from Dosti, ‘hume tumse pyaar kitna’ from Kudrat etc., ..It could be coincidental…
The beauty of the composition is not really coming out, as stated by others, due to not-so-good singing. And about the music I do agree any extra music will surely be nice…but even the simple one which you have now played is also sounding very good..
Get it recorded again with a good singer…it will be wonderful..
It is high time you go into composing full time…you have IT in you…:D
Best wishes

ENVEEK - In my “Second Innings”
Very soulful and touching composition..Loved it ..You can play guitar, compose songs, sing and write lyrics too ..wow ..Some are born with one talent and you are blessed with many ! ..Keep it up ..:)
Constructive feedback : While composing a tune around words, try not to break them ..I feel it could be avoided here….”Aasamaan bhi SAA — GAR se milne ko aaya” :)
Cheers,
-Vishal
the use of komal dhaivat adds a good feel to bring out melancholy-u must do this number yet again with a proper vocalist -not just with the voice aptitude but someone with a bit of classical background as the use of komal dhaivat (resonance and freqeuncy)in the song will have a significant impact in the ‘just’ scale rather than the tempered scale. tempered scale great for harmony-just scale superb for melancholy—will be great to see u do this with some indian string instruments and bamboo flute use specifically for the notes “ga re sa dha” in avaroh
keep it up
shashank -enjoyed the tune and being a bit passionate made the above suggestions. hope u find them worth considering
very beautiful composition shashank!
sahi hai….good stuff :)
buddy you are a great composer, it will be better if u let a good singer lend his/her voice to your composition, who can do justice to your compositions….......great music composers got their due when they let good singers let sing their compositions..like Pancham da, Rajesh Roshan,....AR Rahman is an exception though :)
Well no surprise ur father loved this one it is a classic reminds me of some old classical era of Indian Music awesome gr8 simple music & awesome vocals.
