About Main Agar Kahoon (cover)
The music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar has given us two wonderful songs last year – Main Agar Kahoon and Ajab Si. Two beautiful songs sung by two of the best filmy singers in India – Sonu Nigam and Kay Kay. Sonu Nigam has a special gift in giving the right feel to the songs. It is not easy to imitate the feel that he gives in to a song. And Main Agar Kahoon is a good example.
Here I am trying this song with Sindhuja. Lemme know how it sounds. :-)

you need to add more power on the higher notes..thats a very sonu nigam trademark..now i dont know if ur trying to do ur own version here or sonu nigams version !

As usual you singing was awesome..Your voice is indeed mesmerizing. Just a few points I wish to mention are:
... your diction was a bit problematic w.r.t certain words…like in ‘kehna’the sound of “H” was not being heard properly and the accent of some other words needed slight improvement.
... The high notes could have been still better. You needed to open up.
... Yet another point which I felt is the a slight feel of pathos in the song. This being a romantic song, the pathos is not warranted ...
These are some points which a singer of your caliber can easily correct..Hope you will take my comments in the right spirit.
Sindhuja was awesome too…
Overall an EXCELENT performance by both of you..Liked it immensely. I agree with Sudeip..you did resemble Sonu at many places..

Sudeip >> What you have observed is right Sudeip. I struggle terribly at high notes. I don’t know what vocal help/technique should I use to overcome this because I have noticed this issue of sounding fragile at high notes. I need to learn some vocal techniques for that, if any. :-)

Great job Jo ! Sindhuja has very few lines but she did great as well …You are right, feeling wise Sonu’s songs are not easy to imitate but you have done well …a little more effort would have made it even better :) ..You are improving in your diction but needs more work :) ..pay more attention to the way “Kahin” is pronounced ..
I heard if you practice in lower octave (Kharaj ), it opens up your vocal range on higher notes as well.
