About Jazz Sitar: Sanjeeb Sircar. 'When The Saints Go Marching In'.
I played Sitar(acoustic) and recorded this version of this very famous song, a well known Jazz Tune (standard), in 1997 along with two other very fine Jazz Musicians The Late Ian Cazio – Guitar, and Alex Fernandez – Keyboards.
Its about two minutes long and the sitar-solo comes in the second half.

great work
I loves it! I truly do :)
A very nice surprise of a piece. Totally unexpected to hear the Sitar starring. Do you have an album I could buy? Cos I really like instrumentals like this, but it’s very hard to find.
Thanks Antony and Prasanna.
Prasanna unfortunatly I dont have music like this on CD but am looking for the right people to make somthing. However you can check out the audio and video samples on my website at: www.sanjeebsircar.com

Hey,
Nice solo! Pretty novel idea of playing a Jazz solo on the Sitar! Cool:)
It’s Different… :D
Hey.. This is cool stuff.. Sanjeeb I would like to congratulate you on this innovative stuff.. At least I’ve heard such a thing for the first time..
I would like you to take a look and participate in this project that we are running across Muziboo.. This is a battle against the terrorism and anti social activities happening today in this world.. So we decided to build our own troop of Muzibians and make a song to do our bit for this world.. You could click here to listen to the song and also read the instructions on how you could contribute.. Looking forward to some great stuff again on our song!! Cheers.. \m/
