Actually a raaga is a particular mood defined by a set or sequences of notes. It takes quite a few years of learning to learn a raaga. I cannot claim to understand many raagas intricately. But in modern music, the restrictions on the raaga are a lot relaxed as is in this composition. It does not really stick to the raaga in all senses.
I love raagas, because they define a whole other level of talent.
And this one is a perfect example.
