BATTALIONS is a Heavy Metal,White band based in Chennai..
Battalions started as a Christian Worship Team in Sep 2004 by Godwin, Joshua and Paul(Ex- Drummer).Performed in Churches n worship centres. Paul had to leave to NZ for his Studies in March – 2006. Then John Caleb joined in as the new drummer and we decided to play heavier n challenging kind of music, the beautiful genre called Metal. But sadly John was with us for a very short time and had to leave for personal reasons. Then Vishal joined the band as the drummer.The band performed at many places and won many competitions with this line up. The Band concentrates on doing Originals and the lyrics is purely based on our Christian faith and values.Now Vineeth has joined the band as the new drummer after Vishal had to leave coz of his work.
