Ambient/Textural Music

I always loved listening to ambient music since I started getting attracted to the beautiful world of music and cinema. I used to listen to Enigma, Deep Forest and think about the beautiful imagery the songs would create while listening to them with eyes closed. Ambient music has a very mystical, dark and blissful tone which captivates the mind and body. Ambient music is the primary ingredient of music therapy. It really helps our mind to relax and travel to an altogether different world. When I saw ‘Crash’ with my friend in an multiplex, I was completely blown over by the background score by composer Mark Isham. He created magic with ambient music blended with world vocal samples which helped the score reach a new level. Then I realized the effect of ambient music on the celluloid.
