128 kbops encoding for Pros -- Issues with it!

I am having trouble with 128 kbps reuploads.

Multiple times i tried to re upload my old songs in 128kbps with the 128 knps check box clicked. but they still show up as low fi. an example is raina beeti jaaye cover.

Also when u show summary play lists like buzzing music, when u click on my 128kbps songs they play as 64 kbps.. an example.. if u look at last weeks buzzing music page and find my kabhi aditi.. and click it it plays in 64kbps.. but
if u click on the song and play it from the song page, it plays as 128kbps

replying from my mobile so a quick reply. sorry for the trouble. the playlist issue is known and i have to check in a fix for it. reuploads should work. i have myself reuploaded united we stand like that. let me get back to you on this tomorrow when i can access full blown net.

The problem is not reuploading itself. It is the fact that once you reupload, for whatever reason the song only plays on Lo-Fi.

I looked into the issue today and there was a temporary glitch in the process that processes uploads. I have reprocessed your upload and its playing hifi right now. Please verify at your end and let me know if the problem persists with other reuploads.

I would need some time to fix the issue with the summary/playlist player. I am currently travelling so I would be able to fix it once I am back in Bangalore. Since the issue affects all pro users, I would extend the validity of the pro account by a month for everyone once I am back. Needless to say, I appreciate the time everyone is taking out to help us improve the system.

George: You are talking of the playlist player or the individual song player? Is there a specific song that is affected?

I have fixed the issue with playlist player playing at 64 kbps

1. Playlist player plays at 128 kbps if you are pro and have enabled 128 kbps streaming for your song

2. We have retired the button player. It was not being used much and playlist player serves well for most things

Also as promised, I have extended the validity of all pro users. All pro account bought untill yesterday will expire on 18th August 2009
