I am sure, you felt handicapped singing a ghazal to a karaoke track, leaves u with no room for improvisation which is the most important differentiator for Ghazals…

All said, you have something about ur voice which does full justice to ghazals…My request is for you to cover all of Jagjit’s in arth and Sath Sath.

Excellent singing NVK sir, i agree with you on ghazal singing, its very difficult to adjust and sing on K-track for a Ghazal, but you did absolute justice to it.

On a different note, when i heard the first alaap I realized that I heard this song before somewhere, I don’t know who copied who, but I got a video of a telugu song from the movie Machu Pallaki (1982), which was huge hit. Music of this movie is done by Rajan Nagendra and here is the song sung by S.Janaki

NVK Sir..You have sung very well as usual…i could hear your breath quite loudly though…forgive my ignorance if thats the way it shud be..Some people have a natural feel in the voice…they dont have to do much to emote/add expressions…you are definitely one of them..we are looking forward to more :)

dear sir as i have already said before u have really got a mesmerising voice which does full justice to ghazals especially of jagjit singh y dont y try some pankaj udhas songs i am quite confident u will also score with his songs.i think u shud cut off an album for urself it shud be an hit if given proper marketing as for this song my rating is 5.0/5.0 cheers!!!!

there is depth and emotion in your voice- riyaaz aur upar wale ki den- dont know whether intentional or coz the song so merits—felt there was a bit of suppression in the voice—khula awaz se nahi gaya aap- aakarant aalaps a bit, i feel woul accentuate the overall effect-

Overall super—if u have the time listen to the trial pieces which i have recorded on you tube—wud be nice if you can sing some compositions based on these raagas—ur voice will do wonders

Just got back from my trip. This rendition is very good indeed. It is very hard to synchronize for a ghazal as you have rightly pointed out. Great job overall. Did you make the track yourself?

nice singing except few places but its not a easy one to sing when the tabla and vocal is already there…you will do this much better when singing in live….I enjoyed it.
