About Cheeni Kum (Cover)
The title song Cheeni Kum from the Hindi movie Cheeni Kum is a beautiful song composed by Ilaiyaraja and given life by Shreya (I also loved the male version of this song). Here is my humble attempt to sing this song. And this is the first song I recorded in my new Shure SM 58 ! Let me know how it sounds. :-)

Sung well .. however I hear some clipping in between .. could that be because of some setting not right in the recording setup?

Thanks Prateek. That clipping was there in the karaoke track I got. :(
Wow…very good rendition as usual. Your voice is vey nice and soooooo soothing.
i felt you could open up a bit more while singing higher notes…Soundeed like controlling the notes from down ..Go to the top and handle them …:) Hope you got what I am saying…

Good one Joseph…5/5…however you would be perfect if you take care of the pronounciation of the hindi words …
@NVK – Thanks NVK . Yes, I have felt that the vocals need to be more sharp at the higher notes. And I was controlling the vocals at the high notes. The reason is that I reside in a guest house (in Trivandrum, where I work) where there are 16 rooms in one floor and I record at night after returning from work. So I take care not to freak out the neighboring roomies, hence the problem. :-)
@Rakesh
Thanks Rakesh. Could you please write in detail about which all words I mispronounced and how it should be? Thanks!
Excellent Joseph, enjoyed it thoroughly, rock on buddy ! bas toda toda hindi pronounciation ;).. u’ll get there defn, awesome effort!
~ Play the music, not the instrument.
